Who We Are
Birthright of Pittsburgh is a nonpolitical, interdenominational organization that provides assistance to pregnant women without regard to race, age, religion, or income. The essence of Birthright is love and compassionate support to women faced with difficult decisions regarding the life of their unborn baby.
All services are free and kept strictly confidential.
If you think you might be pregnant, we at Birthright of Pittsburgh want to provide help and hope. We care about you and your baby and are here to give encouragement and practical assistance.

Birthright provides emotional support, friendship, and practical needs to women and girls facing an unplanned pregnancy. When you interact with Birthright, you are known and loved. We provide varied resources to help empower women and girls to experience the fullness of community.

At Birthright, we are dedicated to helping our community flourish. We are proud to be located right in the heart of Oakland, on Bus Lines 54, 71A, 71C, and 93.
Pregnancy Tests
We offer walk in and appointments for free pregnancy testing. Bring a support person with you, or come on your lunch break. We can work with you.
Love and Support
Birthright services are always confidential and free. They are available to any woman or girl regardless of age, race, marital status, circumstances, religion, criminal background, or financial situation.
Confidentiality
When you’re ready to talk, we’ll be here to listen. Our services are non-judgmental and confidential. Always.
Referrals
Get referrals from our volunteers for prenatal medical support, financial, legal and job search resources, housing, counseling and more. If you need it, our partners have you covered.
