Person data we do not collect

Donation forms

When you make a donation, we collect personal data to process the donation and requests related to the donation form (for example, newsletter requests and tribute information). We use two third parties to help process these donations:

Google Forms

We use Google Forms to pre-screen volunteers. We collect the information you submit on the form, including your name, email, and phone number, as well as your responses to the questions to pre-screen you as a volunteer.

Responses are stored on Google servers, which are encrypted in transit and at rest.

We use Google Forms as a third-party data processor and that data is processed in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.

Analytics

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We use Google Search Console, an analytic service (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=policies) to improve our services and our website. This includes statistics such as query terms, pages visited, the type of device used, and the country from which the website was visited. These aggregate statistics do not contain personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

Our website is also powered by Simple Analytics, a privacy-friendly web analytics provider. We use this plugin to collect anonymous metrics to understand how you use our website and where our traffic comes from. We use this insight to improve our website and create a better experience for visitors. We do not use this plugin to track you, serve personalized advertising, or sell the data to anyone. Bot protection

We use the hCaptcha anti-bot service (“hCaptcha”) provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a US Corporation in Delaware (“IMI”). hCaptcha is used to verify whether information entered in a form was performed by a human or robot. This analysis starts automatically when the visitor enters a part of the website with hCaptcha enabled. hCaptcha evaluates various information (IP address, length of time on site, mouse movements, etc). This data is forwarded to IMI. We have a legitimate interest in protecting our site from automated crawling, spam, and other malicious activity. IMI acts as a “data processor” acting on behalf of customers.
